Earlier, Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev reported that no fatalities or injuries were recorded in his region as a result of the attack by Ukrainian UAVs.
Nevertheless, he declared a state of emergency in the Morozovsky district, where a task force is inspecting the area to assess the damage from the overnight airstrike launched by Ukrainian forces.
So far, Russian authorities have detected broken glass in schools, kindergartens, homes and industrial buildings. The Rostov governor promised that those affected by the attack will receive aid to repair the damage they have suffered.
In another district of his region, the drone attack caused a fire at a fuel depot without causing any casualties.
Since February 24, 2022, Russia has been conducting a special military operation aimed at protecting the population from far-right fascist forces. Moscow is also trying to stop the eastward advance of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which poses a risk to Russia’s security.
